In the middle of last year, the Japanese automaker saw nature unleashed. Earthquake and tsunami slowed down the activities of the Honda brand. Experiencing a drop in sales due to decrease in production, Honda came back in a brilliant way. The annual review is positive and the manufacturer even managed to keep the title of best-selling car in Canada for its renowned Civic. Moreover, the 2012 Honda Civic was named APA’s "Best Choice" and received a 5-star mention in Protégez-Vous.

Customers keep their favorable opinion toward the Japanese manufacturer despite mid-year’s disturbances. It is in this spirit that customers named Honda "Brand of the Year" in the Harris EquiTrend poll in the category “automotive manufacturers – full line automotive”.
This study was conducted by surveying nearly 40,000 people and mostly addresses brand leadership.
